Are you really comfortable with doing the bare minimum in your life? Do you have a huge idea that you have been contemplating but just cannot build up the courage to take action. I want you to know you are not alone. I remember for years I contemplated writing. It is the one thing that brings me peace and joy since I was in 5th grade.
One day I woke up and decided enough is enough. All of the wonderful poems, essays, and ideas that I write in my journal and freestyle in my head need to be shared with others. Therefore I decided to Step Outside of my Comfort Zone. I was tired of the negative self talk and frustrated with myself for putting one of my life long dreams on the back burner. I know you are wondering where did you get the courage from. Honestly I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I said to my self "Self what is the worst thing that can happen"!
Most often we put more faith in others than we do in ourselves. We will cheer on our co-workers, friends, and children all the way to the finish line and totally forget about our own goals. Then you wake up one day and realize What about me. You begin to have this full blown pity party mostly because of fear and regret. Some of us have the nerve to play the blame game. I am guilty of this for sure. I have good news for you. There is no time like NOW. Whatever your hopes and dreams are just do it. The worst thing that can happen is you not sharing your gifts and talents with others.
Step outside your comfort zone. Yes it will be a little uncomfortable and Yes you may feel a tiny bit of anxiety, but think of how you will feel if you continue to couch potato your hopes and dreams. Put some action where your ideas are. Stop taking baby steps around your one life that you have to live purpose. Jump, jump, jump to it. Go ahead I dare you.
From my heart to yours...
